Born and raised in the Bay Area, I've always had an interest in using cameras since I was little. I would take photos on a disposable camera before I was even old enough to be in kindergarten and would use my first video camera in the 5th grade to make a "tv show" with my cousins. As I've gotten older, my interest in being behind the camera has continued to grow. I have been freelancing as a photographer since 2013 and am currently a student in the Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) at San Francisco State University.
While I mostly take portraits, I have also had the opportunity to be a set photographer capturing all the candid behind-the-scenes moments of two short films. Currently, I am trying to further my experience in concert photography as I love the thrill of being able to capture still moments of a show. As for experience in concert photography, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot photos of Lizzy McAlpine, Tessa Violet, and dodie.
What I love about photography is being able to capture the many moments of my life and other people's into one still shot as something to look back at for memories and the bittersweet feeling of nostalgia.
